Thank you all for being a part of the Digger & Mac Golf Classic. As always, without your support none of this would be possible. We are very pleased that we are going to be able to have this year’s tournament. Below you will find the itinerary for the day of the 16th. Please share this information with all of the golfers in your team.
8:00am – Registration:
- AS PLAYERS ARRIVE: Please see WCC Staff to help get your clubs to your cart
- Please follow the WCC Dress Code (FOUND AT END OF ITINERARY)
Very important – please comply with dress code
- The Tournament staff asks that the TEAM CAPTAIN’S CHECK IN FOR THE ENTIRE GROUP
- They will be given the ENTIRE Teams Player Gifts, Lunch Tickets & Drink Tickets
- SINGLE PLAYERS can also come to the Registration Table
After Registration:
- Putting Contest – FRONT Practice Green (closest to Pro Shop) – $5 CASH to enter
- Player Practice Green for Putting & Chipping – Located to the RIGHT of 18th Green
- RAFFLE TICKETS will be on sale (Accepting Cash or Credit Card)
- Coffee, Tea & Pastries Station is set up by pro-shop
9:00am – Shotgun Start (please be on time)
- ***Clam Bar at 7th Hole (Donated by Tangredi & Yother Familes)
- On Course Contests: Men & Ladies Long Drive, Closest to the Pin & More!!!
- Lunch & Beverages @ The Shack (by 9th Hole Green)
- 1 Lunch Ticket includes: Hot Dogs, Burger, Chicken Salad Sandwich w/Chips & Cookie
- 2 Drink Tickets per Golfer – these can be used on the course OR inside Restaurant for Cocktail Hour
- Beverage carts will have complimentary donated Beers, Hard Seltzers, Water, Soda, & Iced Tea – NO TICKETS NEEDED FOR THESE ITEMS – Please Enjoy!
Approx. 2 pm – Cocktail Hour and Passed Appetizers
- Golfers can use their drink tickets for any beverage of their choice.
- Bars are located at the upstairs restaurant and downstairs patio.
- Passed Appetizers – MENU TO FOLLOW!!
Approx. 3 pm – Prime Rib Buffet Dinner
After the Meal: TOURNAMENT WINNERS & RAFFLE
- Drop Bucket Raffle and Buffet will be set up in the Banquet room – instruction to follow day of event.
***DRESS CODE – WALLINGFORD COUNTRY CLUB***:
Appropriate attire is required of all members and their guests at all times on Wallingford Country Club property. Dress Code violations may result in players being denied course access. The management staff of Wallingford Country Club will enforce the dress code standards. AS WE ARE GUESTS OF THE WALLINGFORD CC, WE ASK ALL PLAYERS TO ADHERE TO THEIR DRESS CODE.
- Shirts: Collared shirts, turtlenecks and/or mock turtlenecks are all appropriate attire. Shirts must be tucked in at all times, unless they have a banded or ribbed bottom. Women may wear sleeveless, collarless shirts or jewel neck shirts.
- Shorts: Shorts cannot be more than five (5) inches above the knee. NO CARGO SHORTS!
- Shoes: The Wallingford Country Club is a spike-less facility. Metal spikes of any type are not allowed. Spike-less golf shoes are allowed throughout the property except the main level of the clubhouse.
- Hats: Hats when worn on the course are to be worn in the standard acceptable manner (brim facing forward). Hats and/or visors are not to be worn the clubhouse area.
- The following are considered unacceptable attire: Jeans, T shirts; tank tops; low cut shirts; mesh shirts; sweat suits; halter tops; gym shorts; tennis shorts; coaching shorts; cutoffs; cargo shorts or cargo pants (with pockets on the outside); running, biking or spandex shorts; or any other dress of a similar nature. Jeans or denim of any type/color are not allowed anywhere with the exception in the Clubhouse. Jeans must be in good repair, no rips, tears, frayed ends or holes and must fit appropriately (no excessively baggy denim).
- Golfing attire should be clean and presentable.
